Visibility as to how we use the money we raise is vitally important if we are to maintain the support and good will of the local community, without whom we would be unable to continue to do what we do.

Along with termly funding to help with ‘extras' for the children and a regular travel allowance to help with school trips, other bigger projects are also funded from time to time. For example, in 2007/2008 we installed interactive whiteboards in all the classrooms throughout school, as well as brass instruments for Year 5/6. In the past we have funded the nature area and pond in the school grounds. See also 'Diary of Events' for the latest news on each of the fund raisers.

'Wish List'
To allow FODS to target fund raising, school generates a list of priorities or 'wish list' for the coming year. We do our very best to raise money for the these additional items that help toward the enhancement of the children's education. Look to the right for the 2008/2009 wish list.
